As part of the Grow Sustainable program, Grosvenor Investments has just awarded the Grosvenor Grow Sustainable Scholarship to entrepreneur Miguel Silveira, in partnership with ISEG’s Sustainable Finance Course.

Miguel Silveira is a Marine Biologist and Co-Founder of MadeinSea – a Portuguese startup, inserted in the blue economy sector, which is dedicated to developing high quality marine products, implementing a circular economy. And, as a winner of the Grosvenor Grow Sustainable Scholarship, he won the opportunity to attend the 2020/2021 edition of ISEG’s Sustainable Finance Executive Course.

The Grosvenor Grow Sustainable Scholarship received dozens of applications, reflecting the emerging interest in responsible and sustainable investments that guarantee long-term return and impact. Among all the participants, Miguel Silveira presented the most innovative idea that integrates ESG (Environment / Social / Governance) sustainability objectives and good practices in its business model.

The winner will thus have the opportunity to consolidate knowledge about the impact of the Sustainable Development Goals on the creation of new financial products, in addition to recognizing the Portuguese financial industry’s commitment to Sustainable Financing and helping financial entities to design their plan action on sustainable finance. This ISEG Executive Course is aimed at all entrepreneurs, investors or managers with an interest in Sustainable Investment.
