Join us for another episode, the 7th, of the 3xP Global Spotlight Series — where we highlight our portfolio companies, which are turning bold ideas into impactful and sustainable business.

In the spotlight today is LoopOS, a pioneering platform that helps businesses transition from linear models to circular systems through smart data, design, and operational tools. We’re here with Ricardo Morgado (RM), Co-founder | CGO & CSO at LoopOS, to talk about their journey, how they’re enabling circularity at scale, and what the future of sustainable business could look like.

3xP: Can you give us a quick overview of what Loop OS does and the problem you're solving?

RM: At LoopOS, we’re building the ERP for circularity and we’re making it affordable! Our no-code platform empowers businesses of all sizes to launch and manage circular models like trade-ins, repairs, resale and rentals without the usual complexity or cost. Most ERP systems weren’t designed for the realities of circularity, and that’s exactly where LoopOS stands out. We’ve created a platform that combines the flexibility circular models require with the speed and affordability businesses need. Whether you’re scaling trade-ins, resale or repairs, LoopOS gets you up and running in days, without the complexity or cost of traditional solutions.

3xP: What industries or sectors are you currently working with, and how do your clients use your platform?

RM: LoopOS was designed to adapt, whether it's enabling circular services or streamlining reverse logistics, our software helps businesses activate and scale these operations quickly and efficiently. That’s why we’re trusted by a diverse range of clients: from consumer electronics and general electronics brands to OEMs and insurance companies rethinking recovery and reuse. Some use LoopOS to scale buybacks across entire regions; others unlock new revenue streams through second-hand sales or transform post-claim repairs into seamless digital experiences - all powered by the same agile platform.

LoopOS and 3xP Teams

3xP: Circularity is a broad concept — how do you translate it into practical, measurable outcomes for your clients? At LoopOS, we turn circularity from a concept into something actionable and scalable.

RM: Our platform is designed to help companies move from strategy to execution, fast. In just 48 hours, clients can launch and manage circular flows like trade-ins, resale, repairs, or returns without heavy IT or complex integrations. And because real change depends on visibility, we made impact measurement a core feature of the platform. We’re currently developing our new Impact module, which will allow clients to track, in real time and at SKU level, how much waste they’re avoiding, how much CO₂ they’re saving, and how much they’re extending product life cycles. This isn’t about vague sustainability goals. It’s about giving businesses the tools to act, scale, and prove their progress every step of the way.

3xP: Could you share a project or partnership that really showcases the kind of change Loop OS can drive?

RM: A strong example is our work with Fnac. They wanted to scale buybacks and second-hand sales across multiple markets, but needed a solution that could handle complexity without slowing them down. With LoopOS, FNAC digitized the full journey - from customer drop-off to refurbishment and resale in just 48 hours. Everything runs through a single platform, fully integrated with logistics and impact tracking. Today, they not only operate faster, but can also measure results in real time turning sustainability into a business advantage.

3xP: What are you most excited about in terms of Loop OS’s future?

RM: What excites us most is that circularity is no longer a trend - it’s becoming the new standard. Businesses aren’t asking if they should act anymore, they’re asking how fast they can move, and LoopOS is here to make that shift not just possible, but inevitable. We’re building fast rolling out new modules, deeper integrations, and smarter automations to remove friction and unlock scale. We’re also introducing AI-powered tools to support faster diagnostics and smarter pricing, helping businesses make better decisions in real time. But more than features, what drives us is the mission: making circularity accessible and affordable to any business, anywhere. Because when the tools are right, sustainability stops being a challenge and becomes a competitive edge.

3xP: Last question: When you think about the intersection of purpose and business, what does that mean to you personally — and to Loop OS?

RM: At LoopOS, purpose isn’t an add-on, it’s the engine behind everything we do. We didn’t set out to build just another ERP , we set out to remove the barriers that hold back sustainable progress, and to show that technology can, and should, serve both people and the planet. Innovation only matters if it drives meaningful change. That’s why we focus on building something that empowers others to act not just efficiently, but responsibly. For us, purpose means embedding sustainability into the operational fabric of business not as a side initiative, but as a measurable, scalable driver of transformation. When purpose and performance move together, that’s where real impact begins.

Thanks so much, Ricardo, for sharing how Loop OS is making circularity actionable and measurable for businesses. We’re excited to see what’s next. Stay tuned for more insights in the 3xP Global Spotlight Series.
