ClimateLaunchpad is organized across the globe aiming to fast-tracksustainability ideas, help them grow into businesses, and get successfully funded. It is a program international developed by the EIT Climate-KIC, the flagship initiative of the European Union in innovation associated with the climate.
The Portuguese initiatives dedicated to ClimateLaunchPad were amazing. An 𝐞-𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 management and monitoring platform, a software that optimizes vertical production, and a solution for the construction of more efficient buildings are the three winning ideas in the National plan. simby.pt, Santa Farm Technology and build.ing teams will move on to the international final, and they will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas on a global stage and compete with other innovative startups from around the world. 3xP Global has the honor to be part of the Portuguese jury and will mentor through this development process. “It is the second year that we integrate the Portuguese ClimateLaunchPad Edition. It is a pleasure to contribute with insightful thoughts, frameworks, and guidance as a tutor in this project. In Portugal, the managing team has members from UPTEC, Lipor, Smart Waste Portugal, and Pacto Português para os Plásticos. Our country already has 7 editions counting with 72 competitors teams, more than 132 business ideas, and 4 European Awarded Portuguese Projects. Pavnext was the winner of the UrbanTransitions Final (2017); Eco2Blocks won the Global Grand Final in the Sustainable Production Systems Award (2018); Mudatuga conquered the 3rd place in the European Region Final in the Urban Solutions Award (2021); and, Windcredible had the Wildcard Award in the European Region Final in 2022.
